Great work. I have to agree, that melted look is pretty awesome. I really like how you can just see bits of whatever is underneath poking out. As far as what's missing, have you tried maybe a little more action oriented pose. To me his legs look a little...bored, I guess. Jed's idea of some weapons poking out, maybe with red trim or something, could add a little more color and shape variety too. Great work though man, I know I've said it a lot, but it's really insane the rate you're improving.
